Digital Art

Graphic design was one of the first classes where I really started to understand the depth of media arts. I learned about typography, color theory, layout, and design—and it just clicked for me. I picked it up fast and ran with it. In undergrad, my professor noticed and encouraged me to pursue it professionally. I still remember going to the local print shop to print my senior portfolio as a book for our final project. When the guy behind the counter handed it to me, he asked if it was for a class. I told him, “Yeah, our professor recommended this shop.” He laughed and said, “You know, you’re the only one who had your measurements right. Are you looking for a job?”
